Joseph Morse is a BA graduate in Fine Arts from Indiana University and has been shown in numerous Indiana shows as well as shows in San Diego, most recently the San Diego Art Institute Regional Show. Joseph had a sabbatacal in Europe in the last half of 2000 to gain influence from especially the Impressionist masters Van Gogh, Monet, Degas,and Fauvist Gauguin.

Joseph Morse is the founder of the San Diego chapter of the Stuckist movement of Charles Thomson and Billy Childish.

Joseph describes his painting as colorful and dramatic portrature involving serene and thoughtful subject matter.
