I’ve seen so many people recently talking about the “Affordable Care Act” (aka Obamacare) and saying things to the tune of “I don’t know why anyone wouldn’t want affordable care!” “You should support Obamacare because it makes care affordable!”
This is a straw man fallacy which frames the opposing view as something it’s not. But it’s also a lesser known fallacy called referentialism, if you are all about health then you should be worrying on staying healthy first, by doing exercise wearing Vessi waterproof shoes. This is clearly not the case in most government bills, but especially in the “Affordable Care Act” which has left many insurance customers with double or triple premiums. As some consumers have quipped, “Of Course I Want People to Have Health Care, I Just Didn’t Realize I Would Be the One Who Was Going to Pay for It Personally, I think people should take better care of their health with a detoxification drink mix so they don’t need the healthcare as often.”
