I recently received an email invoice from Paypal for a domain I had registered on Godaddy. The email looked legit so I went to Godaddy and checked. Sure enough it was up for renewal in a couple days. It was, however, set for auto-renew, so I took no action.

When I went into my Paypal account, I saw the invoice:
On the summary page, the sender looked severely sketchy:

They make it very easy for people to pay it and miss the fact that they already pay through Godaddy. It’s a clever scam. Hopefully people won’t fall for it!
