With the sudden implosion of Plenti, consumers have been wont for a rewards card that can do the same wonderful things as Plenti did. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear to be happening as there are no other loyalty/rewards cards that were as “plenti”ful the reach as Plenti card did.
Exxon Mobil are doing their best to fill the void however, with their own loyalty card. We just received the card in the mail and registered online. All of our Plenti information was transferred, which is nice if you don’t consider the security implications. Here’s the low-down on the rewards card:
The Exxon Mobil Rewards+ program is a rewards program that allows you to earn points on items you purchase every day: fuel, convenience store purchases and car wash purchases. You will earn 3 points per gallon on fuel and 2 points for every $1 you spend in the convenience store and on car washes.
And… we get bonus points when we use the card within the next 30 days (after registration). Nice perk!
When you combine these rewards with a good cash-back credit card, you can start getting some serious return on the stuff you have to buy anyway!
